NPower Village Cup 2007

This season the Club has again entered the NPower Village Cup. As we had a bye, our opponents in the second round are Woodhouse Grange who beat Staxton in the first round by 8 wickets chasing 72 runs. The game is scheduled to take place at Woodhouse Grange on Sunday May 13th at 2.00pm. For those of you wishing to support the 1st XI, directions to the ground are given below.

DIRECTIONS TO WOODHOUSE GRANGE

FROM YORK & THE NORTH/NORTH-EAST
Ø Join the A64 via either the A1 (from the north/Leeds), A19 (from Easingwold/Thirsk and the North-East) or York Ring Road (A1237)
Ø Travel along A64 until reaching the Grimston Bar junction with signs for York/Pocklington/Hull (A1079) and Bridlington (A166) – take the slip road.
Ø From the Eastbound carriageway, take the fourth exit and immediately take up the right hand lane for Elvington – there are newly fitted traffic lights to allow easier passage over the road to Elvington lane
Ø From the Westbound carriageway, take the second exit and immediately take up the right hand lane for Elvington – there are newly fitted traffic lights to allow easier passage over the road to Elvington lane

Ø Follow the road through Elvington and over the bridge into Sutton-on-Derwent, follow the sharp left hand bend and take the next left at the Tennis Courts.
Ø Follow this road for approximately 2 miles and Woodhouse Grange is on the right.
